Reflection project 4

My first intial project was going to be and exhibit on pin up girls during the 1920s to the 1930s. I really wanted to do this topic at first because i thought it would be cute, fun, and differnt. Also because i feel like what pin up girls represented during that time was very out there and daring, and thats what art is about. After i did some thinking i decided that that wasnt what i wanted to do. I came up with the art exhbit called "Captured Moments During The 70s". With this topic i felt like i could do more with it and give the viewers a broader look into the different kinds of scenes captured during this time. I kept the exhbit strictly photography and in black and white because i wanted the exhbit to be very realistic. I used no color because i wanted the photos to speak for itself. I chose the 70s because i feel like during that time is when many people started coming out of their shell and expressing themselves whether it was through protests, fashion, etc. I knew i would find phots that really captured whatt i was going for. I really enjoyed this project i would say this was my favorite one that we had so fat. I enjoyed searching for different kinds of photos to use for my exhibit. It was a really fun project.
