1. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned
Greenberg on Art Criticism: An Interview by T. J. Clark
The key concepts i learned in this video was about elitism art and how that art criticism must involve some sort of argument about the basis of the critic's judgment. In the video An Introduction to the Italian Renaissance (Giorgio Vasari), the key concepts i learned was that ancient romans create art as natural beauty until the barbarians conquered the empire. Also that Raffaello was influenced by da Vinci and that he was considered to be the master of composition.
2. Do the videos relate to the creation of your Art Criticism project? If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.
No, i dont think that it related to our project. I couldnt really see any relationship in the two videos i watched to the project that was assigned. The only slight comparrison was that in the critics video and the way the art explained was set up for show.
3. What is your opinion of the films? Do they add depth to understanding of art criticism?
I found the critics video to be quite interesting. These set of videos overall i thought were a bit boring but it did add a better understanding to art criticism.
